Duration of the Course 2 months, twice a week for duration of 1 to 2 hrs per class
Timings 2:30am to 3:30 am (for 1 hr duration) / 1:30am to 3:30am (for 2 hr duration) (Tuesday & Friday)
Course Fee Rs. 2,000/- (this amount does not include cost of materials needed)
Course Content Orientation Lecture (Introduction to Tanjore Painting, History, Typical Styles and their Variations, Raw Materials Used), Selection of Picture and its Size, Preparation of the Board, Tracing of the Selected Picture on the Board, Clay Application, Design Work, Gold Pasting, Outline Work, Painting, Fine Work, Stone Work, Framing
Eligibility Class X passed

Orientation Lecture (Introduction to Designing)
Study Precious & Semi-precious Gems/Stones (including Diamonds) and Pearls: Features, Shades, Shapes, etc
Introduction to Shading (effect on Metal, Effect on Gems / Stones, Texturing)
Types of Motifs (Floral, Geometric & Abstract), Sources of Designs (Natural, Man-made, Historical & Symbolic)
Gem Faceting & 11 types of Setting Styles
Different Types of Locks & Chains
Designing (with pencil shading,& rotaring & colouring) of (Brooches, Earrings, Lockets, Rings, Bracelets & Bangles, Necklaces, Watches, Bow Knotpin & Buckles, Jadau Ornaments, Imitation Ornaments).

CERAMIC DESIGNING

Timings 4:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m (Monday & Wednesday) 12:30 p.m to 2:30 p.m (Saturday)
Course Fee Rs. 3,000/- (this amount does not include cost of materials needed and students would have to pay extra for glazing)
Course Content
Introduction of Pottery, Wedging, Pinching Process, Smoothening and finishing of the pinched pots, Making of a small vase of 6" height by the Coiling Process, Making of a new coiled pot of 8" - 10" height , Making a box with a lid by the Slab Process, Glazing of the pots that have been bisqued earlier, Making of a textured Slab, Combining the slab and coil processes to make a piece
